Medjugorje
– a popular site of religious pilgrimage, due to reports of apparitions of the Virgin Mary. In 1981, She appeared to six children, urging them to pray, repent, read the Bible every day, fast on Wednesdays and Fridays, and confess every month. Our Lady of Medjugorje still appears to the chosen six visionaries. The town itself has become a center of pilgrimages from all over the world. Due to Marian apparitions, the St. Jacob’s church was built here.

Mostar – a historic city, located in central Herzegovina. It is famous for its ancient bridge, the Stari Most over the Neretva, built in the 16th century by the Turks.
